Hysterical Scousers

Today is the day the Boris Johnson goes to Liverpool to face the music for comments he made in the Spectator magazine. As editor he "guided" an article to express a valid opinion: that this country is influenced by the media which has the power to create an atmosphere of mass hysterical mourning. Ken Bigley's death was very sad, but so is the dead of the other thousands of people who have died in this unjust war. The level of grief was totally disproportionate and media influenced. Did Boris just have the courage to express this opinion, or was it calculated and cunning step which can now show him as the politician who, unlike some others, is able to say 'sorry'? Nice one Boris, you've got style.
